The Starbucks Spring Menu Includes A Cherry Chai Drink

Spring into blooming flowers and warmer weather with everyone’s favorite coffee shop chain. Starbucks just announced its seasonal drinks and foods for the spring, and they’re looking absolutely delightful. Coming March 2025, two returning drinks will be available on the Starbucks spring menu, along with a new iced drink and a savory sandwich option.

What drinks are returning on the Starbucks spring menu?

Lovers of Starbucks’ lavender series are in for a treat. Starbucks is bringing back the Iced Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha and Iced Lavender Oatmilk Latte to celebrate the season of new beginnings.

The Iced Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha includes a matcha latte made with oat milk, topped with lavender cream cold foam. Perfect for matcha lovers, this drink offers a wonderful blend of earthiness and floral notes. The Iced Lavender Oatmilk Latte is simply an oat milk latte with lavender flavoring, made for those who would like a flowery twist on a typical latte.

Starbucks uses both lavender powder to flavor these two drinks. Through its addition to cult-classic drinks, lavender adds a subtle floral sweetness, fittingly reminiscent of spring.

What new drinks will there be?

New to the Starbucks drink menu is a unique spin on their chai latte: Iced Cherry Chai. Although its exact ingredients haven’t been released yet, the drink looks to be a regular Chai Tea Latte topped with some sort of cherry cold foam. Starbucks usually does not have fruity flavors in its milk-based drinks, as fruity flavors are more commonly found in the Refreshers. It will be interesting to see how cherry holds up in a milkier format.

Cherry picking season typically lasts from May to June, and cherries tend to be more associated with the summertime. Nevertheless, the Iced Cherry Chai is an exciting fruity option, and we are anxious to try it.

Are there new foods coming to the menu?

Yes! Starbucks is bringing a Jalapeño Chicken Pocket to participating locations. The ingredients are not exactly known, but this dish appears to be a tortilla-style wrap stuffed with chicken and a kind of chunky jalapeño sauce. Aside from the Spicy Falafel Pocket, Starbucks is lacking in the spicy food category. The Jalapeño Chicken Pocket will definitely bring the heat.

When can I try these items?

Although the release date for these drinks and foods is not yet available, we know that these items will be available starting sometime in March. Keep your ears peeled for when they’ve come out, and run to go try them!
