McDonald’s Strawberry & Creme Pie Is Officially Coming Back

2025 is off to a great start, and I owe it to the return of this iconic sweet treat. Sure, you can go to McDonald’s and order the Oreo McFlurry, a staple hot fudge sundae, or a square of the baked apple pie. But what would satisfy your sweet tooth more than McDonald’s strawberry and creme pie? Yes, you read it correctly! The fast food chain is bringing back this seasonal dessert for a limited time at participating locations. Food influencer @Markie_Devo took to Instagram to announce this rumored release and said the item has been available across several states including New York, Michigan, Florida, Georgia and Arizona. If you’re like me you’re probably scrolling to find your McDonald’s app to see if this delicacy is available near you. Trust me, you’ll want to get your hands on this cherished holiday pie before it’s all gone.

What is the strawberry and creme pie?

This pillowy pastry is filled to the brim with strawberry and vanilla-flavored creme that oozes out while being wrapped up in a flaky and sugary crust. After making a subtle exit from the menu back in 2014, customers have been begging McDonalds for this dessert to make a comeback.

The pie returned, once again, in 2022 for a limited time at select locations as it was featured on the menu during the spring and winter seasons. But sadly once again, it was removed without any warning from the fast food chain.

Users under @Markie_Devo’s post were raving about the beloved flavor after hearing the good news.

“Strawberry has always been the goat imo,” one commenter wrote.

“They’ve got them at the McD’s nearest to me! I definitely have to try it!” another added.

Where is it available, and how do I order one?

While this creme-filled delicacy is slowly making its return to several McDonald’s locations, it is yet to be seen available nationwide. So far people have been able to order it in select states including Michigan, Florida, Georgia, New York, and Arizona.

If you aren’t living in one of these areas, then you’re better off heading to your McDonald’s app. When placing an order for pick up or delivery, you can enter your zip code and double check the menus of the McDonald’s locations in your area to see if they have the pie on standby.

What other flavored pies can I get at McDonald’s?

If you strike out when looking for this craved confection, don’t worry! McDonald’s has a variety of other pie flavors you can choose from on its seasonal menus.

First up is the holiday pie. Filled with a rich and thick custard that is hugged with a flaky crust and doused in rainbow sprinkles, you’ll be placing the strawberry and creme in your rearview this holiday season.

The signature baked apple pie is simply a dessert that you cannot pass up. A buttery flaky pie crust filled with warm cinnamon-spiced apples and sprinkled with sugar, is ideal in these cold winter months. Plus it pairs deliciously with the hot caramel sundae for an extra layer of richness.

Now, just like the strawberry and creme pie, McDonald’s cookies and creme pies are available at select locations, but are still loved by many. This dessert is filled with vanilla creme and surrounded by a chocolate cookie crust. It is basically an oreo cookie in pie form. What sounds better than that?
