The holidays are right around the corner, and Oreo is already spreading Christmas cheer with its limited edition Red and Green Festive Creme cookies. And rightfully so — the holiday season is cookies’ time to shine. But don’t fill up too much: Oreo recently announced that the company is releasing seven new Oreo products to stores just after the holidays. The launch includes a variety of new Oreo snacks ranging from soft baked cakes to ice cream bars to mini bites. This is the biggest news from Oreo since the “besties” Coke collaboration earlier this year, and chocolate lovers aren’t going to want to miss it.
What new Oreo products are coming out this year?
Okay, so maybe you don’t have to wait until 2025, since the first products to hit shelves are the Oreo Game Day cookies. Perfect for playoff season and the upcoming Super Bowl, these cookies feature five new football-themed embossments with the same classic flavor as the original Oreo. Sports fans can look for these cookies in stores starting December 26.
What are the new Oreo flavors coming out in 2025?
The rest of the launch will be available for purchase starting in January, 2025. For those that love the traditional cookie but want to switch things up with a new flavor, try the Irish Creme Thins or the Oreo Minis Peanut Butter. The Thins feature the classic thin chocolate cookie filled with a light layer of Irish Creme flavored creme. Like the Thins, the Minis also feature the classic chocolate wafer, but bite-sized. Filled with creamy peanut butter, these are the perfect sweet, poppable snack. Both items will be available in stores starting January 3.
Also hitting stores in early January is Oreo Loaded. The Oreo Loaded cookie sandwiches a Mega Stuf level of creme (that’s also loaded with Oreo crumbles) between two signature chocolate cookies.
What new Oreo ice cream is coming to stores in 2025?
Even better, the launch doesn’t stop at just cookies. Oreo also has two new desserts hitting the freezer aisle: Oreo Frozen Treats Oreo Bites and Oreo Mini Bars. Both sweets feature a creme-flavored dairy base and are coated in Oreo dust. Reminiscent of the Oreo Loaded cookies, the Mini Bars also include Oreo wafer chunks throughout.
Are Golden Oreo Cakesters coming back?
Don’t worry if you don’t like chocolate, there’s still a new product for you. Oreos is officially making the Golden Oreo Cakesters a permanent product. Inspired by the Oreo Golden sandwich cookies, the Cakesters have two pillowy, soft-baked snack cakes filled with creme.
