Burger King Is Giving Out 1 Million Whoppers For Only $1

Burger King, the fast-food “Home of the Whopper,” announced a new deal for all Royal Perks members following the Million Dollar Whopper Contest that prompted fans to enter a new innovation for the classic Whopper sandwich earlier this year. After over 1 million entries to the contest, Burger King announced it wants to make everyone a winner and is selling one million Whoppers for just $1. In addition to the $1 promo, Burger King picked three finalists out of the million entries for the Million Dollar Whopper Contest and is letting Burger King customers decide who should be crowned the Whopper winner and win 1 million dollars.

How do I get a $1 Whopper?

Members of the Royal Perks loyalty program can redeem the $1 Whopper on the app in the “offers” tab starting November 12. The deal will continue until one million Whoppers are sold. So, download the app and head out to your closest Burger King to take advantage of this deal.

While you’re at Burger King, you might as well participate in choosing the winner of the Million Dollar Whopper contest, picking one of the three finalists to win the 1 million dollar prize. The three Whopper finalist innovations will be on sale for a limited time. Each finalist’s version of the Whopper is completely different, and you may have to try all three before voting for your favorite.

What are the new Whoppers?

To vote, customers will be able to scan a QR code on the wrapper which will lead them to a website to pick one of the three innovations to be the ultimate winner. The new twists on the classic Whopper will be available in store after November 14.

One innovation is the “Fried Pickle Ranch Whopper,” created by Fabian from California. This Whopper will be a ¼ lb grilled beef patty, like the classic Whopper, but adds pickle ranch, bacon and Swiss cheese.

The next sandwich is the “Maple Bourbon BBQ Whopper,” created by Calvin from California. It’s a Whopper with barbecue sauce, crispy onions, jalapeños, maple bacon, and American cheese on a sesame bun. This one adds a lot of elements to the basic Whopper. For those craving an American barbecue, this innovation definitely spices up the classic whopper and is on our must-try list.

The third sandwich is the “Mexican Street Corn Whopper,” created by Kelsie from Nebraska. It’s created with the same ¼ pound grilled patty, but adds creamy street corn, lettuce, tomato, tortilla crisps and spicy queso. This Whopper definitely is perfect when you can’t decide if you want a burger or Mexican food and is the perfect combination of the two guaranteed to satisfy both cravings.
