Here’s What The Cast Of ‘The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives’ Orders At Soda Shops

The surging popularity of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives has come with a great deal of attention on their signature beverages, sodas. As one mom from the show, Jessi Ngatikaura, explained, the variety of soda shops that fill Utah are known as “the Mormon bar.” With drinking alcohol and coffee being against The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, these women need a special drink to get them through the day. Each mom has a different flavor combination that really suits them, goes with their personality and gives them their beverage fix for the day.

Check out all of the Mormon moms unique soda combinations for your next trip to Swig.

Demi Engemann

Demi Engemann starts her bev off with a whopping 44 ounces of sparkling water. This serves as the base of the drink called The Fighter. This flavorful drink contains water, sugar-free vanilla, sugar-free peach, sugar-free pineapple, fresh lime, and raspberry puree. From there, she mixes in a variety of additional sugar free syrups including coconut, vanilla, raspberry, and pineapple. With just these ingredients, you can imagine yourself laying out on the beach with a fruity, tropical drink in hand. To level this soda up, Engemann tops her soda off with coconut cream. In the words of Engemann herself, this bevvy is “chef’s kiss.”

Layla Taylor

Layla Taylor keeps her order a little more simple than Engemann. She starts with a menu item called a Bloody Wild. This drink has a variety of not only flavors, but textures added to the mix. It contains Mountain Dew and is topped with mango and strawberry puree. From there, she adds in an additional flavor to customize the soda and really make it her own. Just like Engemann, Taylor tosses in some coconut cream to her 44 ounce soda and is ready to take on the day.

When Ngatikaura struts into Swig she likes to keep things simple. She has a taste for a drink called Texas Tab. Ngatikaura differs from the rest of the MomTok group slightly as she only indulges in a 32 ounce bev. This soda has a Dr Pepper base with add-ins of vanilla syrup and coconut cream. Jessi opts for the drink just the way it is.

Mayci Neeley

While Neeley’s bev order was never shown on the show, in an interview with Cosmopolitan, she explained this was her go to after deciding to try the drink the person ahead of her in line chose. The bev called A Berry Bad Doctor begins with a Dr Pepper base and has additions of raspberry puree, coconut and vanilla syrup and some cream.

Mikayla Matthews

Engemann and Matthews seem to have similar tastes when it comes to their sodas of choice. They both start their drinks off with a base of sparkling water. From there, they both opt for the sugar-free syrups. Matthews adds in sugar free raspberry, pineapple, coconut, and coconut cream. This bev comes out as a beautiful blush pink and a nice mix of tropical flavors.

These ladies love to enjoy a soda at any time during the day, whether they need a morning wake up call, midday pick me up, or a bev to get them through the night. On your next trip to Swig, or just at home, sip on one of these unique creations and enjoy.
