Owala’s New Ghosty Water Bottle Glows In The Dark

As of September 22, it can officially be said it’s finally fall, which means it’s time for scary movies, pumpkin bread, apple picking, and spooky water bottles. The Owala water bottle craze has taken the world by storm with many even saying it rivals the trendy Stanley cup. Owala has continued its popularity with the launch of new colors, including the recent drop of its Target fall collection and now the spooky-themed water bottle, Boo-Ya. The new ghosty water bottle will be available tomorrow, September 24 at 12 p.m. EST.

What does the Owala Boo-Ya FreeSip look like?

Boo-Ya is a 32-ounce FreeSip water bottle. It is a green and white water bottle with flying ghosts throughout the body of the bottle. But the most notable thing about this bottle is that it glows in the dark. It doesn’t get spookier than glowing in the dark. When the lights turn off, the ghosts turn from white to dark green, and the background behind the ghosts glows a freaky neon green color. Fans of Owala are ecstatic about this new drop and the glow-in-the-dark feature.

A fan on Reddit commented, “I need to see it in the dark!”

How can you get the Owala Boo-Ya FreeSip?

Owala’s Boo-Ya FreeSip will be available on September 24 at 12 p.m. EST for $37.99. On the water bottle’s website, fans can opt to be notified when the bottle is up for sale by clicking the charcoal “Notify Me” button on the page.

However, plan for this limited edition FreeSip to sell out in a couple of seconds just like the limited edition Urban Outfitters Exclusive Owala drop from July. Owala is a very popular brand and the water bottle is already on eBay listed for $94.99. If you are unable to get a bottle in the first round or on eBay, it will go on backorder, it may just take about ten weeks for you to eventually receive the Boo-Ya according to Owala fans preparing for the drop on Reddit

Owala is also hosting a giveaway of one free Boo-Ya FreeSip. To qualify, you must enter before 11:59 p.m. EST on September 23, like the most recent Owala Instagram post, follow Owala on Instagram, and tag your friends in the comments.

Looking for more fall-themed Owala water bottles?

Along with Boo-Ya, Owala just dropped Autumn Sunset, Ode to October, and Fall Flutter at Target. All three water bottles are fall-colored with red and brown hues.

On October 4, 2024, Always Stoked —  a 24-ounce FreeSip Twist bottle with a yellow and white checkered pattern, blue cap, and small blue windmill characters — will be available. This water bottle is a collaboration with the Dutch Bros. Werewolf is a 32-ounce FreeSip that will be selling on October 15. It is a purple, pink, and orange water bottle with a moon decal on it. In the dark, it becomes black and the moon glows.
