Happy Meals are McDonald’s signature meal: a main item, a side item, a drink, a dessert, and of course, some sort of toy. You also can’t forge the iconic packaging it comes in. For around $5, you can get a delicious three course meal, plus a toy and a fancy box. To me, that’s a steal. We can all agree that growing up (and even today), the best part of the Happy Meal is the toy. McDonald’s is constantly teaming up with outside organizations to create new toys, its most recent being with Yu-Gi-Oh! and Hello Kitty. In the near future, we can expect a Crocs collaboration at McDonald’s.
What toy will be in the McDonald’s Crocs collaboration?
It only makes sense that the toy featured in a Crocs collaboration is a mini Croc keychain, dubbed a ”Croc Clip.” It’s the perfect addition to your keys or backpack, or to your feet if they’re extremely small.
The Croc Clips have already hit stores in various other countries, and the designs are so creative. The mini shoes feature 10 different McDonald’s-esque designs, such as McNuggets, fries, and even the iconic Golden Arches. TikToker Chloe Mak actually collected every design of the Croc Clips, and they’re all absolutely adorable.
The Croc Clip comes in its own mini shoebox, which also comes in a bunch of different designs. I especially love the burger one. Even the Happy Meal Box looks like a Croc and has jibbitz. The Happy Meal smile is designed to look like a jibbit too. I got to hand it to McDonald’s, they really got creative with this collaboration.
If only McDonald’s could sell life size Crocs in its Happy Meal. I would totally rock a pair of burger Crocs. In fact, McDonald’s and Crocs have teamed up in the past to design actual Crocs that you can wear. The collection includes clogs and sandals with designs featuring Grimace, Birdie, the Hamburglar, and the classic McDonald’s red and yellow colors.
When will the McDonald’s Crocs Happy Meal be available?
McDonald’s hasn’t officially announced the collaboration yet, but food blogger @snackolator had the inside information and revealed the news on Instagram.
“A big disclaimer that it’s possible the designs (and number) could differ in the US, but the Happy Meal is definitely coming to the USA,” @snackolator wrote on Instagram earlier this week.
There hasn’t been a confirmed release date of the Croc Happy Meal, but it can be expected to arrive sometime before the end of the year, so keep a lookout! I need to get my hands on the french fry Croc Clip. It’ll look so cute on my keys, but will probably also constantly make me hungry for McDonald’s fries.
