What Our Three-Course Meal at Cafe Phonebooth Looked Like

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at UDelhi chapter.

Vintage decor, hearty food and affordable menu – the cafe on the road of food (aka Hudson Lane), with its delicious dishes, drinks and desserts, has full potential to be your next all-time favourite destination, especially for the north campus college students. Thank us later!

The interiors and exteriors of this café have been intricately designed in line with the British world theme and the English windows and cafes painted on the wall, with phone booths placed outside as well as inside the cafe, together add to the charm of dining here.

We recently got a chance to visit this cafe and to our surprise, it not only proves to be good for snacking with friends but also for a proper three-course meal. Need some proof? Here, we show you what our meal at Cafe Phonebooth looked like:

For Starters:

Considering its good taste and pocket-friendliness, we are quite particular about this dish. And the Phonebooth one didn’t fail to enter our favourites list.

This dish brought best of both worlds in one platter. It was an amalgamation of Mexican and our own Desi Street Food flavours. And with a twist like that, it instantly became our favourite.

This is what #SpoonRecommends. A perfect melt-in-the-mouth dish, it was oozing out flavours that tasted best with green chutney.

For Main Course:

Noodles and Manchurian Gravy

This combination can never go wrong and at Phonebooth it was all the way better, depicting the  ‘Chinjabi’ cuisine flavours.

For Desserts:

Brownie with Ice Cream

Brownie. Ice Cream. Need I say more? It was definitely what heaven tastes like.

This was a clear winner, our favourite among the lot. You wouldn’t have tasted something as good as this before, we bet.

Spoon Tip:

If you visit this cafe, don’t miss out on the amazing shakes and drinks. We highly recommend the Aam Panna Mojito and all their shakes. They have some variety to die for.
