If you’re a tequila lover, get excited, because not only is it National Tequila Day on July 24, but Kendall Jenner, founder of 818 tequila, just dropped her favorite drink recipes. Kendall might’ve been shamed on the internet for months for not knowing how to cut a cucumber, but she’s finally redeemed herself while showing how she crafts her drinks. It’s officially time to sit back, relax, and have a marg…or two! Kendall shared her fave tequila cocktails on the 818 YouTube channel, and we are obsessed with them. Plus, we rounded up our other favorite tequila drink recipes to share just in time for this oh-so-important holiday. Don’t forget to buy your lime wedges and tajin now, people. And have creating these tequila recipes for National Tequila Day.

#SpoonTip: Drinking can be fun, but be responsible. Spoon does not promote binge or underage drinking. Stay safe!

Kendall Jenner’s Cosmopolitan

This might sound weird at first, but Kris and Kendall’s tequila cosmo actually looks bomb. Mix one shot of tequila (they use 818, of course), three-quarters ounce lime juice (you could add as much as you want, IMO), three-quarters ounce of orange liqueur, and half an ounce of cranberry syrup in a shaker with lots of ice, and shake it for about a minute. Strain into a chilled glass, and garnish with a lime. My mouth is watering. This recipe looks super refreshing and tasty. Kris said the drink was “super smooth” and “stunning.”

Tequila Sunrise Margarita

This classic tequila drink is personally my favorite and a must-drink for National Tequila Day. So, let's get to the recipe. Pour two ounces of tequila blanco, three-quarters ounce of orange liqueur, one and a half ounces of orange juice, the juice of one whole lime, and lots of ice into a shaker. Shake it up for about a minute. Rim your glass with lime and tajin and pour over the ice. Then, for the most exciting part of this drink, drizzle about one-quarter ounce grenadine into the drink. Garnish with an orange wedge, and you have yourself the quintessential drink for the holiday.

Mexican Candy Shot

This shot will get you in the mood to par-tay! Combine half an ounce of watermelon pucker, one ounce of tequila, half of a lime’s juice, and a dash of chamoy and hot sauce into a shaker with ice. Shake it up until your hands are numb (this is no joke). Lastly, rim your shot glass with lime juice and tajin, pour your drink into your glass, and you’ve got yourself a Mexican Candy Shot! The salts, spices, and citrus all compliment the tequila so well to create a refreshing shot full of sugar n’ spice.

Barbie Marg

Just in time for the Barbie movie coming out this Friday, this bright pink marg is the perfect way to celebrate both National Tequila Day and the release of the movie. In a shaker, add in one and a half ounces of tequila blanco, half an ounce of dragon fruit simple syrup, half an ounce of freshly squeezed lime juice, and a whole lotta ice. Shake, shake, shake, and then strain over ice into a glass. Garnish with a lime, and you have the most vibrant margarita to ever exist. A sweet yet refreshing drink, I bet you’ll love this one.

Tequila Watermelon Spritz

Aperol Spritzs might be known as the drink of the summer, but I think we’re onto something with this tequila, watermelon, and minty spritz. This drink is the best way to celebrate the holiday, sippin’ outside under the sunshine enjoying a light refreshment. Into a chilled glass with ice in it, pour two ounces of tequila, one and a half ounces of watermelon juice, three-quarters ounce of lime juice, and top it off with prosecco. To garnish, add lime slices and mint leaves. This drink will cure your Monday scaries, I promise.
