Now that you're settled into your dorms, first apartments, university houses, and the like, it's time to get back to work and start studying. Of course, the start of school often signifies other fun right around the corner. From football games and frat parties to nights out in the college town, it's time to party, too! However, if you are venturing into undergrad life with sober curiosity, you can still hang out with new people and make friends all while sipping on your Borg mocktail. While everyone else is drinking their "blackout rage gallons" with vodka, you can sip a sweet and bubbly mocktail that won't leave you with a nasty hangover. Non-alcoholic cocktails really are having a moment, and being sober is a lifestyle choice that is growing in popularity. If you're looking to party without alcohol, here are some fabulous Borg mocktail recipes that fill your night with flavor.

#SpoonTip: Drinking can be fun, but be responsible. Spoon does not promote binge or underage drinking. Stay safe!

1. Sparkling Lemonade

Upgrade your typical lemonade mix with some sparkling water and fresh lime. This TikTok account showcased the wonders of their brand Crisp & Crude, a non-alcoholic canned cocktail infused with CBD. Truly, any flavored tonic water would make this a delicious drink. You can even add in some Torani strawberry or peach syrup for a little fruity kick.

2. Tropical Mocktail

Operating on @tinaholbookscott's cocktail recipe, you can make a fabulous tropical-tasting mocktail borg. First, flavor your water jug to taste juicy with a MiO or drink enhancer with fruit punch, mango, or other similar flavors. Add a dash of coconut water or juice into your jug to resemble Malibu coconut rum, then top off with some pineapple juice. If you're feeling fancy, you can even shake in some grenadine.

Fall Flavors

With back-to-school season, you might be craving some fall flavors outside of the morning Starbucks coffee run. Luckily, MiO and other brands of water enhancers have cranberry-flavored packets for a bit of autumnal flair. Flavor half of your water with cranberry and then top off with sparkling cider.

Mocktail Mimosa

This recipe is almost as easy as your standard brunch mimosa. Flavor half a gallon of water with orange electrolyte drink mix or syrup. Then, add your preferred amount of real orange juice, followed by sparkling cider or flavored tonic water. You'll have a big boost of immunity with this Vitamin C-tinged borg.

Barbie Borg

Think pink with your mocktail. Dump out half of your water jug and flavor the remaining water with a pink or red flavor enhancer. Then, top off your drink with sparkling berry-flavored water. Add in some freeze-dried strawberries and frozen dragon fruit for a Starbucks refresher effect
