Haaaaaaave ya met Ted? McLaren's is the bar that is home to one of TV's most well loved gangs, the cast of How I Met Your Mother. Ted, Barney, Robin, Marshall, and Lily spent a countless amount of unforgettable nights in their booth at McLarens. Their hangout was almost too perfect. The food always looked delicious, there was always a crowd, and there was always laughter in the air.
Everyone who watched HIMYM had at one point or another hoped to have a bar like that. Well, fret no more. McGees, located on West 55th St in Manhattan, is the bar that is said to have inspired McLarens.

Although the bar is not an exact replica of McLarens, it gives off the same comfy and friendly atmosphere. It has a dark ambiance with pictures of the HIMYM cast all around the room. It is an Irish pub that expands over three floors. Once you get a table and start to eat and drink you can't help but smile.
Finally, you have a place to spend your nights with the people that matter the most to you. A place to dress up as a parrot and pirate for Halloween like Marshall and Lily did. A place to put your best pick up lines into action like Barney... or should I say Swarley.

McGee's even hosts HIMYM Mondays every week. It includes a special food and drinks menu for the fans which have meals that relate to the show on it. The appetizers include: The "Accidental Curly Fry Basket" and The "Bro Code Combo." For your entree you have a choice between The Best Burger in New York, The Suit Up Sandwich and many other meals based on the cast's inside jokes.

But wait, it keeps getting better. The cocktail menu for HIMYM Mondays highlights a few of the funniest incidents that happened on the show. A few of the most famous drinks that are included on the menu are The Slutty Pumpkin, The Pineapple Incident, The Naked Man, and The Robin Sparkles.
