If you’re anything like me, caffeine is a must-have every morning before class. For the days that the dining hall brew just won’t cut it, here are some delicious handcrafted lattes found within less than a mile of campus.

1. Peet’s Coffee & Tea: Raspberry Latte

While raspberry mixed with espresso may not initially be your cup of tea (or rather, coffee), this eclectic beverage offers both the sweet, tangy taste of raspberries and that caffeine kick you need to start your morning. Iced or hot, this fruit-flavored drink goes surprisingly well with a fresh blueberry lemon muffin from the bakery.

2. Kafein Coffee: Honey Nut Latte

The name sounds like something straight out of the hundred-acre woods, and the sweet honey taste is just as sweet as a fairytale. There are days where all we need is an artsy hazelnut and honey drink. After a few sips of this latte, you’ll be so de-stressed you’ll think you have a fairy godmother.

3. Coffee Lab: Pumpkin Pie Latte

A great place to unleash your inner white girl, Coffee Lab has a Pumpkin Pie Latte that combines all the flavors of fall with a slightly spicy kick to boot. Offered from early autumn through the end of the year, this latte is the perfect accent to an afternoon of curling up with a good book and watching the leaves fall.

4. Unicorn Cafe: Almond Latte

This cozy cafe boasts some truly exotic latte flavors, a welcome change from the typical caramel or vanilla syrup options. The Almond Latte seriously tastes as if you’re drinking a cup of almond biscotti with a generous helping of creamy milk foam on top.

5. Other Brother Coffeehouse: Vanilla Latte

Vanilla is the only latte flavor offered at this chill Sherman Avenue coffee bar, but nevertheless the simplicity of the drink coupled with the overall cool atmosphere of the place earns it a five-star review.
