Aside from having some of the tastiest and wildest flavors of ice cream and sorbet around (miso cherry, extra virgin olive oil, and ants on a log, just to name a few), Oddfellows has recently reopened their East Village location as an ice cream sandwich place. Don’t worry, you can still get yourself a scoop, but with a whole new menu to choose from, you might be missing out on a life changing ice cream experience.

The first section of the new menu is the Odd Pocket, a warm brioche bun filled with ice cream and topped with anything from hot fudge to spicy almonds to blueberry compote. This is by far the best way to get in your ice cream fix on a cold day. Or a warm day. Any day really.

The next section is a choice of a two classics, an ice cream sandwich or their new s’mores. The s’mores consists of smoked marshmallow ice cream, cocoa caramel, and graham soil sandwiched together all nice, neat, and tasty. The “Classic” doesn’t disappoint either, donning salted caramel and hazelnuts.

The last section is the DIY section where you can choose from any of five cookies (including a gluten-free option), any flavor of ice cream, and a topping. Their flavors rotate every day, so check today’s list of flavors to maximize your sandwich experience.

If cotton candy cones, banana splits, and boozy pops are more your speed, try out their other location in Williamsburg.
