Lately, Chance the Rapper has given Chicago countless reasons to be proud of him. This past winter, he became the first artist to win a Grammy without ever selling a single song. In November, he led a march to the polls to encourage young people to make their voices heard in the election. And, he's been a vocal activist in the fight against Chicago's gun violence problem.

It comes as no surprise then that Chance recently announced he's donating $1 million to Chicago Public Schools. Chance himself is a graduate of the CPS system, and the donation comes after a meeting with Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner left him less than pleased with the governor's plan for improving the school system.

When celebrities make donations like this, it often leaves us "regular" people feeling like the only way to make a difference in the world is to be a millionaire. However, that's totally not true, and Alliance Bakery in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood is showing how anyone, rich or not, can contribute to change—using cookies.

The Cookies...

Alliance is known for their beautifully crafted cookies. They can seriously turn any cookie into a work of art. The bakery team came up with three Chance-inspired cookie designs, including his signature "3" hat, my personal favorite, and the Chicago skyline with Chance's silhouette.

All the cookies are their signature shortbread flavor, and each one takes several hours to make, including baking, decorating and drying times. In short, these Chance cookies are just as tasty as they are nice on the eyes.

So, how can you help?

For every Chance cookie purchased, Alliance Bakery will donate $1 to Chicago Public Schools. The $5 price tag might seem steep for a single cookie, but the #forthekids cause is  most definitely worth it. Plus, they make for a great Insta opportunity

The bakery's owner, Peter Rios, has set a goal of selling 5,000 cookies by the end of this school year. If that goal is reached, he's pledged to match the $5,000 donation those sales will generate, totaling to a $10,000 donation to CPS.

Each batch of cookies has sold out pretty fast, so if you don't want to end up leaving empty-handed, you can preorder your Chance cookies on Alliance's website.

If you aren't already placing your order online, what are you waiting for? Get yourself to Wicker Park for great cookies and a great cause, and help Alliance Bakery reach their goal of selling 5,000 cookies.

Or, go buy a cookie to support Chance because we all know you don't want no problems with him. Yes, pun very much intended, but, seriously, do it for CPS.
