Like most college students, having a meal plan that allows you access to more sweets than you can imagine sounds good in theory. But after awhile, all of those midnight snacks of soft serve and warm brownies really start to add up..and you don’t want that.

Thankfully, there are some ways to avoid a sugar binge and the dreaded “why the heck did I eat that” stomachache. You can curb those cravings with these healthier desserts.

While ice cream can contain over 15 grams of fat for one scoop (so sad I know), Jell-o contains none. You can still satisfy your sweet tooth with your favorite flavor, but don’t forget that everything is in moderation.

I don’t know about you, but my favorite part of peach cobbler is the texture. With its crunchy crust and soft peaches, you can get the same effect with a peach parfait made with your favorite yogurt, granola, and peaches topped with cinnamon. Click here to get the scoop on all things peach.

To get the same sweet, creamy taste of thick frosting, try some marshmallow spread on your favorite cupcake or fruit to cut down on calories. It’s also fat free which is a huge plus.
