Is it just me or do midterms seem to go on forever? We’re all stressed, chugging Red Eyes from Midnight MUG and trolling food Instagrams while “studying.” So, like every other stressful time, midterms call for comfort food… and what better comfort food is there than the glorious panini? Here’s to some food porn and delicious procrastination to celebrate the good in the world during this awful time. Try not to drool.

1. Prosciutto and Pesto Panini

This Italian staple has made mouths water for centuries. The delectable Prosciutto di Parma (sold at your local Safeway, Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods) pairs with vibrant pesto to make your wildest dreams come true… and I haven’t even mentioned the wet mozzarella, fresh tomato slices and Italian bread. Find the recipe here.

2. Cuban Panini

Crispy, rich and delicious. This panini includes both pork AND ham, and to take it further, engulfs your taste buds in cheesy, peppery goodness. For those mustard lovers out there: the Cuban panini will complete you. Find the recipe here.

3. Caprese Panini

I think we can all agree that this panini takes the cake for most quintessential and timeless sandwich out there. Fresh mozzarella, tomato and garden fresh basil… need I say more? Add some balsamic vinegar on there to kick this meal up a notch. (P.S. Dean and Deluca’s rendition of this sandwich is to die for.) Find the recipe here.

4. Ham, Egg and Cheese Panini

In my opinion, there is nothing better than a really good breakfast sandwich. This panini goes the extra mile. With its crisp Virginia ham, peppery scrambled eggs, American cheese and buttery white bread, what more can you ask for? Find the recipe here.

5. Nutella and Banana Panini

Well, the picture really speaks for itself. Make sure to sprinkle some powdered sugar on top to perfect this delectable dessert (or breakfast… #treatyoself). Find the recipe here.
