Kath Eats Real Food: A registered dietician’s approach to healthy living through limited processed foods and eating whole, locally sourced foods. She owns a bakery in Virginia and takes great food pictures. Definitely not a vegetarian-but I let it slide.
Chocolate Covered Katie: A college graduate and full time vegan food blogger. She posts recipes of low-calorie, healthy and totally vegan desserts. Great website for new and interesting healthy baking alternatives. Black bean brownies anyone?
Hungry Hungry Hippie: A former vegan with dietary restrictions who blogs daily about her eats and habits. Food for those with food limitations and those who are interested in healthy foodie finds and recipes.
Oh She Glows: Vegan food blogger with an inspiring story of how she got healthy. She has won many awards for her recipes and blog. Lots of raw food ideas for those interested. Look out for her “perfect veggie burger”—too good!
Minimalist Baker: Straight up delicious, simple, hearty and whole food recipes plus a bunch of vegan baking options. Food porn-worthy pictures too!
Rabbit Food for My Bunny Teeth: A young perspective on getting healthy through eating a plant-heavy diet. Has a cute “rabbit food pyramid” to base your meals off of to get proper nutrients.
Eating Bird Food: A holistic health coach from Virginia who posts mainly vegetarian recipes. She also tests out recipes from various health food sites. Focuses on local, whole foods.
