Cardio is a love/hate relationship. We usually hate doing it, but love the results. However, as much as we despise running, we all need a little sweat session in our lives. Keep rack of all your runs on Nike’s interactive running app and see your progress, all for free.

The Good:

This app features a GPS signal and can track how far you run, where you run (you can log if you are running outdoors and it will take terrain into account during your run), and it tells you when you have completed each mile.

Who it’s for:

Literally anyone. If you are training for a marathon, you can choose programs on the app that tell you what kind of run to do each day. If you are an off and on jogger, this app keeps you motivated by keeping track of all the miles you have booked and even gives you little ribbons when you run your farthest or fastest.

*J. Cole voice*: “I wanna see you Sworkit for me, Sworkit for me.” Whether you want a pre-made workout or if you want to customize your own workout, Sworkit will help you get the bod you Swant.

The Good:

This is app is similar to Nike+ Training Club because it has awesome pre-made workouts with different levels, body parts, and times. However, Sworkit sets itself apart from other apps by offering a cool feature where you can customize your workout. You can pick each and every move you want to do and how long you want to do it for.

Having the busiest day of your life? Sworkit has your back by giving you the option to shorten a workout by subtracting minutes. If you want to add extra minutes to burn off the one too many glasses of wine you had the night before, Sworkit can do that too.

Who it’s for?

Anyone can make this app Swork. No joke, though: This app is every fitness junkie’s dream. I like that the pre-made workouts include areas in strength, cardio, stretching, and even yoga. By following videos of real trainers while they do the workout with you, this app is sure to keep you motivated.
