TLT stands for The Lime Truck, which should sound familiar if you watched Food Network's The Great Food Truck Race Season 2. Spoiler alert: they won. Now, this fast casual food-truck-turned-restaurant has become a favorite of Westwood locals since it opened on the corner of Westwood Blvd and Kinross Ave about four years ago.

The sign above the entrance says that TLT serves "New American Cuisine", which means that they serve foods from a mixture of different cultures and origins. Deciding what to eat at TLT depends less on what dish you want to eat, and more on what region of the world you want to experience that day. Is it a poke bowl type of day, or time to inhale some carnitas fries?

That being said, TLT's menu has something for everyone: various tacos, salads, burritos, bowls, sharable goods, and sides fill the menu. There's traditional Mexican food on one side of the spectrum, and a killer short rib grilled cheese on the other.

If you're a health nut like me, the Brussels sprout and green rice bowls are must-tries. The Brussels sprouts are perfectly charred with a tangy chipotle-honey aioli and pickled red onions to tie all the flavors together. The green rice bowl edges on the Asian side with edamame, miso radishes, wontons, and spicy mojo sauce.

For the taco lover, the sweet and spicy steak taco is different from any taco I've ever tasted. It's topped with chimichurri, wontons, and Asian slaw. They have more classic tacos, too, like the pork belly adobo taco and seared ahi tuna taco. Tell me your mouth isn't watering right now.

#SpoonTip: go on Taco Tuesday to get each taco for only $3!

At TLT, you can dine in, take out, order delivery, or cater an entire event. So basically, there is no excuse not to have TLT for every meal of the day.
