Regional NYC is a quaint Italian restaurant on the Upper West Side best known for their Saturday and Sunday brunch. In a city filled with overpriced eateries, I definitely hit the jackpot when I discovered this local favorite when searching for a cheap brunch in NYC. A brunch experience at Regional includes eating great food, enjoying a nice daytime buzz, and not running yourself broke in the process.

Bottomless Drinks

I'm not even going to lie, the unlimited drinks for the price of one were what really drew me into Regional. $12-$14 for all the Mimosas, Sangria, and Bloody Mary's you can ask for. I can't rave enough about the service at Regional; the second my glass (or Mason jar) was empty, a waitress came right away to refill. It's a deal you can't beat, but proceed with caution; these are some strong drinks.

Free Muffins

These babies were definitely responsible for my return to Regional. The cornbread, blueberry, and chocolate chip mini muffins were fluffy, moist, and warm, just the way muffins should be.

My main course was a loaded veggie frittata covered in melted mozzarella cheese, served with a side of whole wheat toast and the holy grail of zucchini fries. I'm not even kidding when I tell you that the next time I returned to Regional I ordered an entire plate consisting solely of these juicy fried strips of zucchini.

Dessert

Is it still called dessert when you eat it at 11 am? This creamy tiramisu would say so. I don't know if I would have ordered this had it not been for all the mimosas, but I'm very glad I did. It was rich, sweet, and silky, just as all tiramisu should be.
