There’s no better way to celebrate the autumn season than by eating a ton of seasonal food samples and taste fresh, locally brewed hard cider at the Boston Public Market! Their 2018 Harvest Party was perfect for the Boston foodie on a pumpkin spice kick -- the annual event highlights Boston Public Market’s superstar vendors and brings in New England-based breweries to showcase their frontrunner beers and ciders. If you ever walked through BPM and thought, “I wish I could just try everything,” this was the night to do it! Along with incredible food and beverages, live music, raffle prizes, and a massive “pumpking” photobooth kept the night in high spirits. Keeping reading for a few of my favorite flavors of the night.

Mother Juice

Mother Juice was the first BPM vendor to welcome visitors with a seasonal treat! Their samples of fresh pumpkin ginger smoothies kicked off the Harvest Party with a delicious start.

The Popover Lady

The Popover Lady is a favorite BPM vendor of mine, so I was so excited to see that they were giving out mini popovers! Options included original, asiago cheese, and cinnamon. I had to stick with the OG and blown away with their simultaneous crispiness and fluffiness. I might’ve gone back for seconds!

Law of Pasta

Homemade pasta is probably one of the greatest things on the planet, so Law of Pasta’s samples made my night! They offered their freshest and tastiest pasta while showcasing their chefs hand-make their next batch: pumpkin and ricotta ravioli!

Union Square Donuts

Donut holes for days!! Union Square Donuts treated visitors to some of their scrumptious glazed and sugared donut holes. (Sidebar: My favorite part about this picture is the sign in the background.)

Stillman’s Farm

Of course you can't forget that BPM is a farmer’s market too! Stillman’s Farm wowed visitors with their beautiful layout of fresh veggies and crunchy samples of their yummy Asian-inspired slaw.

Bon Me

Boston’s finest definitely pulled through for the night -- they gave out two delicious samples of their spiced deviled egg and seasonal berry bubble tea! We were some of the first to try the brand new fall bubble tea flavor which blew our minds! Be sure to give it a taste before then run out for the season!

Dig Inn

Last but certainly not least, Harvest Party sponsor Dig Inn pulled out all the stops with their crispy daikon cake. It was loaded with flavor and Asian veggies. This is the most unique dish we tried at the party and one of my favorites!

CIDER AND BEER VENDORS

Emma Guido

Allagash

Allagash Brewery made quite the statement that night with a strong, amber Sixteen Counties and a fruity, refreshing white.

Downeast Cider

This was my pick for best cider of the night! Downeast Cider kills it with a spiced pumpkin hard cider, which was not too strong yet not too sweet.

Foolproof

Yes, peanut butter beer. And yes, it’s amazing! Strong and memorable in taste, Foolproof’s porter has you floating on a “Peanut Butter Raincloud” with a sweet, buttery aftertaste.

Stoneface

Stoneface Brewing Co. treated visitors to their "Full Clip" IPA, which slams your tastebuds with a light and juicy taste. I couldn't get over the sleek, unique branding on each of the cans, either!

Thank you Boston Public Market for an incredible night! Spoon Northeastern is currently STILL full from all the delicious treats! If you're hungry for me, check out the BPM website here: https://bostonpublicmarket.org/.
