How to Make Caramel Sauce Without Burning Down the Kitchen

I prefer homemade caramel sauce over storebought, but caramel sauce can be tough to make. I've nearly burned down my kitchen an embarrassing amount of times attempting to make my favorite brownie topping from scratch. Thankfully, I have an easy caramel recipe that takes the stress out of baking.

Step 2

Once the candies begin to melt, steadily add in the cream.
#Spoontip: More cream will equal a thinner sauce so the amount is up to you.

Good caramel sauce doesn't have to be hard to make. You can have this one in just ten minutes. This caramel sauce tastes great over ice cream or all of those apples you've picked this fall.
