On April 11th, around 200 Georgetown students gathered outside VCW on Harbin Road to celebrate Spoon GU’s Food Fest. Even with only three food vendors, this event was not short in food with crepes from Crepe Love, salads from The Hilltoss and frozen chocolate covered bananas from Georgetown Dining. When students weren’t stuffing their faces with Crepe Love’s Da Vinci crepe or watching Georgetown Dining freeze chocolate covered bananas in liquid nitrogen, they could be seen over at Spoon GU’s table entering into the half-year giveaway of Honest Tea or the raffle for Coca Cola merchandise.
Special thanks to all the vendors that participated in our event! Be on the look out for more Spoon events to take over Georgetown’s campus–this is only the beginning.
