With our new provider Bon Appetit, food at the DUC is the best it’s ever been. One of the best improvements is the Deli counter. With new and fresh choices, it’s time to up your deli-game.

1. Make a Grilled Cheese

Next time you’re at the deli, try making a grilled cheese. I like to make a three-cheese grilled cheese sandwich, with cheddar, American, and provolone cheese and spinach. Also, consider adding ham. (Bonus: if the DUC is serving tomato soup that day, dip your sandwich into the bowl for extra deliciousness).

2. Keep It Classic

Make a classic sandwich like this turkey and cheese to taste the freshness of the deli counter’s ingredients. Add a pickle to really feel like you just ordered your sandwich at the local diner in your hometown.

3. Put It On Ciabatta

Put anything on ciabatta bread for the most delicious (and photogenic) sandwich. Try a timeless combo like this ham and Swiss cheese. To make the bread taste even better, ask for your sandwich toasted.

4. Mix and Match From Different Stations

Who says the only ingredients you can use in your sandwich have to be from the deli? Grab that chicken sandwich from the Grill station and head over to the deli. Try adding provolone cheese, spinach, and mayonnaise.
