In case you didn’t know, Thursday, April 4 is National Burrito Day. Burrito lovers can celebrate in two ways. The first is making a burrito, which is relatively simple. All you need is rice, meat, beans, and your favorite toppings to be wrapped in a tortilla. If you’re not into wrapping tortillas, opt for a burrito bowl with a side of chips to scoop all that goodness. The second is hitting up your favorite burrito spot. Like most national food holidays, many fast food chains and restaurants will be celebrating National Burrito Day with some sweet deals. To make sure you’re prepared for a day of eating sometimes-too-big burritos (not complaining, those burritos work great as leftovers), here are the best deals for National Burrito Day.
Baja Fresh
Until April 4, customers can get the buy one, get one free burrito when ordering online or through the Baja Fresh app. Keep in mind, customers must create a Club Baja Rewards account to use the coupon code BURRITO2024 at checkout. Available only at participating U.S. locations and while supplies last, this BOGO code is also only valid per person and visit.
Bubbakoo’s Burritos
On April 4 when loyalty members buy one burrito at any Bubbakoo’s Burrito location, they’ll get a coupon to get another for free. That free burrito coupon is then redeemable at a future date.
Chipotle
Chipotle created a new interactive game, Burrito Vault, to celebrate National Burrito Day. Fans can play the game at www.unlockburritoday.com, here’s what you’ll need to do.
Guess two exact order combinations, ingredient by ingredient to unlock the vault. Prizes will be available for the first 50,000 people on April 2 and April 3 who can decipher the Burrito Vault code. The game opens at 12 p.m. PT/ 3 p.m. ET.
Players have four attempts each day to win a BOGO code that will be texted to the winners (make sure to input a valid U.S. mobile phone number). All players who guess a correct order and unlock the vault will also be entered into Chipotle’s National Burrito Day sweepstakes, where 53 fans will be randomly selected to win free burritos for a year (!!!).
Plus, on National Burrito Day, the fast food chain will have a $0 delivery fee offer to all Chipotle Rewards members ordering online and on the app with the code DELIVER.
Del Taco
On April 4, rewards members spending $10 at participating locations will get a free burrito. Limited to one free burrito per guest, the offer is valid on app and online.
El Pollo Loco
El Pollo Loco is going all out this week to celebrate National Burrito Day. Here are the deals leading up to April 4:
April 2: Customers will receive a $10 Bonus Card for every $50 eGift card purchased online on April 2, which must be used by May 2, 2024. This offer is not valid for physical gift card purchases made in the restaurant or with third-party partners.
April 3: Following @elpolloloco on Instagram will grant customers access to exclusive redemption codes for free burritos or a percentage off a burrito purchase.
April 4: Rewards members will receive a buy one, get one free burrito offer. The BOGO offer can only be used once with the free burrito needing to be of equal or lesser value and is not valid on combos.
Moe’s Southwest Grill
On April 4, customers can buy one, get one free deal on burritos and bowls (the free item must be of equal or less value). The offer is valid when ordering online, on the app, or in-store at participating locations nationwide.
Plus, Moe’s will also be hosting a giveaway on April 4, offering 100 customers the chance to win free burritos for a year. The breakdown: 52 burrito rewards, one issued each week of the year.
There are two ways to enter:
1. Rewards members can “Check in” through their rewards account.
2. Other customers can enter on Instagram and Facebook by commenting and tagging a friend on Moe’s National Burrito Day post.
On the Border Mexican Grill & Cantina
On National Burrito Day, customers can get $5 off the restaurant's Big Bordurrito, — fajita chicken or steak wrapped in a seared flour tortilla with Mexican rice, mixed cheese, black beans, caramelized onion and peppers, pico de gallo, and Smoky Queso — a Classic Burrito, or Chimichanga.
The offer can be redeemed at participating locations in-restaurant, online, or on to-go orders using the code 5OFFBURRITO.

Qboda Rewards members can get a free (!!!) burrito when buying an entrée and drink in-restaurant or online on April 4.
