How to Make a Watermelon Mojito That’s Perfect for Summer

All your friends will be super impressed by this Insta-worthy drank that takes less than 5 minutes to make. It goes well with most liquor, even if you don’t have rum on hand, and really drinking anything out of a watermelon makes it that much better.

Watermelon Mojito

Ingredients
  • half mini seedless watermelon
  • 10 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 3/4 cup light rum
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice

Step 1

Cut the watermelon in half, leaving the top and bottom intact so you can pour the drink back into it later.

Step 2

Scoop out the watermelon pulp of one half, and put it in a blender.

Step 3

Add the rest of the ingredients to the blender, and blend for 30-60 seconds or until smooth.

#SpoonTip: Use any leftover mint leaves to make fresh mint tea by pouring hot water over them in a mug. 

Step 4

Pour your drink back into the hollowed out watermelon, put some mint leaves on it, and pretend you’re on a beach.
