Healthy Tuna Treats Your Cat Will Go Crazy For
College can get lonely sometimes, which is why it's no surprise that many bring their furry friend with them when they move into their first apartment—pet fees be damned. And as a thank you for saving us from social isolation, I argue that our pets deserve a couple of treats every once in a while. But it can be difficult when the majority of store-bought treats have too much grain and very little protein, a not-so-healthy combination for your best pal.
To make sure my cats are getting something healthier, I started making their treats myself. Not only do I know what's going into their food, but it's way less expensive than buying store-bought treats. Be sure to use these just as treats though, as they don't have the nutritional value that your cat's food provides.
