Recap: Spoon Launch Party

Thirsty Thursday definitely got spicy last night at Fordham Spoon’s launch event thanks to all the hot wings and drink specials courtesy of Howl at the Moon in Bronx, NY.  Howl was the awesome venue for Fordham Spoon’s launch.

75+ students showed up for the event, making the night a success.  If you had the misfortune of missing the party, just know that the jukebox selections were on-point and the food was crazy good.  Sorry not sorry.

• The doors opened at 10PM and the food spread was hot and ready to go about an hour later.
• For the standard Howl cover charge of $10, attendees had access to 2 tables of food including Philly cheesesteak, mozzarella sticks, jalapeño poppers, boneless wings, and buffalo and barbecue wings.  Aside from the juicy wings, there were THREE kinds of fries: curly fries, regular fries AND sweet potato fries (plus onion rings).  Talk about yum.

• Drink specials included $1 draft picks, $2 kamikaze shots and $3 mixed drinks.

• Spoon’s e-board members could be seen wearing all black, and the entire staff rocked glow stick necklaces.
