Moving back to school can be stressful, but good thing we have our parents to help us out! So, why not set aside a few hours for some great meals in celebration of the upcoming school year?

1. Prep & Pastry

No matter where, moving into a new place can be exhausting. It’s essential to start off the day with a solid breakfast to hold you over for the long hours of unpacking and hauling boxes. My favorite place for breakfast is Prep & Pastry. I recommend the Beni (pictured above), which is one of the most popular menu items. This meal will definitely keep you energized for the stressful day ahead!

2. Pasco Kitchen

If your parents are sad about you leaving for the year, Pasco Kitchen is a great place to drink away their sorrows! Serving creatively crafted drinks and a unique happy-hour, Pasco Kitchen is the place to go. In addition, it is located conveniently on University Boulevard.

Offering a vast selection of burritos, quesadillas, tacos, nachos and salads, Illegal Petes is the place to be for an energetic and fun atmosphere with delicious food.

I recommend taking your parents to Wildflower for dinner. It has a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere, which will help you unwind from your hectic day. Wildflower features a variety of tasty foods for everyone! My favorite dish is the grilled artichoke appetizer (pictured above). I know I will be taking my parents there!

Overall, when going back to school, make sure to take your parents to some great restaurants and prove that you are eating well without them. Most importantly, good luck moving in!
