Everyone knows the best part of trail mix is the M&M’s. So why not make M&M’s the star of the show? Most varieties of M&M’s contain the ingredients of typical trail mix anyway: peanuts, almonds, pretzels… you get the picture. Throw in some chocolate-covered raisins and you’ve got yourself the most genius thing since cookie butter.

The best part about this colorful trail mix is its versatility. Customize it however you want by adding dried fruit, various nuts, popcorn (check out these ways to pimp out your popcorn), or whatever your heart desires. While this trail mix can be taken on a hike, it can also be a nice snack to have out on a coffee table or as a center piece for an event you are holding to really add some color.
