“It’s that time of the year again! Stop by USC main campus to donate blood at our blood drive hosted by USC Red Cross in collaboration with USG Community Affairs Committee. Every donation of blood saves 3 lives! Yes, that’s right… THREE LIVES! Every day we will be RAFFLING a $50 PRIZE EVERY DAY for those who donate!”

What to expect: Sprinkles Cupcakes, CUPS Coffee, Yogurtland available while supplies last.

USC Colleges Against Cancer: Boobapalooza — In October We Wear Pink!

Wednesday, October 22nd and Thursday, October 23rd from 11AM – 2PM

Description:

USC Colleges Against Cancer is selling American Apparel tank tops in support of breast cancer awareness month! Each shirt is $15, and all proceeds go to the American Cancer Society.

In honor of breast cancer awareness month, we encourage those who purchased the shirt to wear them on October 1st and October 22nd for Boobapalooza, USC Colleges Against Cancer’s Breast Cancer Awareness event on Trousdale!”

What to expect:

“Have a go at breast cancer awareness games such as bra pong, trivia, and a bra race. There will be a plethora of cupcakes and candy!”

Challah for Hunger – Baking

Description:

“Come bake with us at Hillel at ‘SC at 5:30PM on Thursday, October 23!

USC Challah for Hunger brings people together to raise money and awareness for social justice – through the baking of challah bread! All proceeds support MAZON (http://mazon.org/) and the LA Food Bank (https://www.lafoodbank.org/).

Challahs will be available for pickup and purchase at USC Hillel on Friday, October 24.

Greek Carnival Benefiting Local Youth and DPS Explorers 

Saturday, October 25 at 11:00AM-3:00PM

Location: USC Frat Row

Description:

“The USC Panhellenic Council and USC Interfraternity Council are proud to present our first ever Greek Philanthropy Carnival.

We will be shutting down the east portion of 28th street for the day and Greek members from IFC and PHC will team together to run carnival booths and games for young children from surrounding schools as well as USC Troy Camp. Money raised through the event as well as generous donations from USC PHC, IFC, and USG will go towards the Department of Public Safety Explorer Program. The DPS Explorer Program immerses youth from the surrounding area in a comprehensive education and physical fitness program to prepare them for High School graduation and admittance to the University of Southern California.”

What to expect:

“Carnival attractions, games, balloon artists, face painting, music and food. In addition to running booths and rides, multiple FOOD TRUCKS will be available for Greeks with portions of the funds benefiting the philanthropy.”
