Valentine's Day; it's that one day that we're all up in our feelings in a romantic sense, which is something that's not to be confused with having an emotional breakdown like I do on a weekly basis. Whether you're spending Valentine's Day with someone that you love, and or your friends, don't let the day be boring; below are some drinks that you could make for everyone to enjoy. 

Monkey 47 Gin Pink Lady

Ingredients include:

1 ½ ounce of Money 47 Gin

½ ounce of apple brandy

½ ounce of fresh lemon juice

½ ounce of grenadine

One egg white

Methodology includes:

Omitting the ice, add all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker, seal your shaker and shake vigorously for five seconds. Then add ice and shake again for another five to seven seconds. Fine strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with one brandied cherry.

Audrey 47

Ingredients include:

Four centiliters of Monkey 47 Schwarzwald Dry Gin

Two centiliters of fresh lemon juice

Three centiliters of simple syrup

Two dashes of creole bitters

Three mint leaves

Champagne

Methodology includes:

Pour all of the ingredients except the champagne into a mixing glass with a handful of ice cubes. Stir and strain into a nice coupette glass. Garnish with mint leaves.

Fruity Pebble Colada

1 ½ ounces of Beefeater’s gin

1 ½ ounces of coconut puree

One ounce of pineapple juice

½ ounce of lime juice

Two dashes of orange flower water

One strawberry

Methodology includes:

Blend. Fine strain. Add a splash of club soda. Serve. 

French 75

1 ½ ounces of Beefeater gin

¾ ounce of lemon juice

¾ ounce of simple syrup

Three ounces of champagne topper

Methodology includes:

Build in shaking tin. Add ice. Shake. Fine strain. Top with champagne.

Tito’s Olive You So Much

Three ounces of Tito’s Handmade Vodka

One ounce (or less) of olive juice

Methodology includes:

Just add Tito's Handmade Vodka and olive juice to a shaker with ice. Shake or stir, and strain into a chilled martini glass.Garnish with olives. Enjoy.

Tito’s for Two

Ingredients include:

1 ½ ounce of Tito’s Handmade Vodka

1 ½ ounce of orange liqueur

Three ounces of chilled hibiscus tea

Optional: one teaspoon of simple syrup

Methodology includes:

Just add Tito's Handmade Vodka, orange liqueur, and hibiscus tea to a glass with ice. Stir and add simple syrup to taste. Enjoy.

Hot Pink Paloma

Ingredients include:

1 ½ ounce of Chivas 12

½ ounce of lime juice

½ ounce of prickly pear puree

Four ounces of grapefruit soda

Methodology includes:

Build in a glass. Stir. Serve on the rocks in a collins glass. Garnish with grapefruit peel.

Frozé

Ingredients include:

Three ounces of cherry or grapefruit juice (or any combination of the two)

8 ounces of simple syrup

24 ounces of Virtue Cider Rosé

Ice

Methodology includes:

Pour the cider into a large, shallow pot or ice cube tray, and freeze for at least 6 hours or until almost solid

Scrape the cider into a blender

Add the juice, simple syrup, and 1 cup of ice

Blend until smooth

Transfer the blended mixture to a pitcher, and freeze until the drink has thickened, for at least 30 minutes

Blend one more time until the frozé is smooth

Divide among four glasses, and garnish with a paper straw

Devils Kiss

Ingredients include:

½ ounces of Devils Backbone Mountain Cane Silver Rum

¾ ounces of strawberry rum

¼ ounces of mezcal

An ounce of lemon simple syrup

Three dashes of rhubarb bitters

Soda water

Optional garnishes include:

Fresh strawberry

Lemon wheel

Methodology includes:

In a rocks glass, combine rums, Mezcal and lemon simple syrup over ice. Stir cocktail with cocktail spoon, then add Rhubarb bitters and top with soda water. Garnish with fresh strawberry and lemon wheel.

Woodford Reserve DioNYCus, Created by Leanne Kubiez, Cincinnati

Ingredients include: 

Three parts of Woodford Reserve Double Oaked

½ part byrrh

½ part antica formula

¼ part punch abruzzo

¼ part angostura bitters

½ part water

Four to five dashes of Fee Brother’s plum bitters

Methodology includes:

All ingredients should be combined, decanted, and served at room temperature like a dessert wine or an amaro. Serve in a sherry/cordial glass with two pieces of dark chocolate. The recipe serves two people, as it is meant to be shared after dinner with friends as a digestif.

Tanteo Tequila Red-Pepper-Ita

Ingredients include:

1 ¾ ounce of Tanteo Chipotle Tequila

¼ ounce of mezcal

¾ ounce of red pepper purée

One ounce of fresh lime juice

½ ounce of light agave nectar

Methodology includes:

Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into an ice-filled Rocks Glass (smoky salt rim optional). Garnish with a red pepper wedge.

Tod & Vixen's Dry Gin Negroni 1651, Created by the late, great gaz regan (NY)

Ingredients include:

1 ½ ounce of Tod & Vixen’s Dry Gin 1651

1 ounce of Cocchi Storico Vermouth di Torino

1 ounce of Campari

Methodology includes:

Stir with ice in an ice-filled rocks glass, garnish with an orange wedge, then serve; finger-stirring is optional.

Seagram’s Vodka Berry In Love

Ingredients include:

Two ounces of Seagram’s Extra Smooth Vodka

½ ounce of mixed berry syrup

Kombucha

Garnish with mixed perry pick

Methodology includes:

Add everything to a shaker except the kombucha. Shake then strain into a wine glass. Top with kombucha and garnish with a mixed berry pick.

Crystal Head Vodka Red Tempest

Ingredients include:

1 ½ oz. of Crystal Head Vodka

½ oz. of Amaretto

One oz. of fresh orange juice

Two oz. of soda

½ oz. of Monin Wildberry Puree

¼ oz. of Monin Exotic Citrus Syrup

Fresh rosemary sprigs

Methodology includes:

Stir Crystal Head, Monin Wildberry puree, Amaretto, orange juice, and Monin Exotic Citrus in shaker until all ingredients have dissolved. Add ice and a sprig of rosemary to shaker. Shake well then strain into a cocktail glass with ice.. Top with soda. Garnish with skewer blackberries on to a sprig of fresh rosemary.

Corralejo Tequila Pineapple & Black-berry Romantic Margarita

Ingredients include:

Two ounces of Corralejo Reposado

An ounce of pineapple juice

An ounce of lime juice

½ ounce of agave syrup

Five fresh blackberries

Salt (for rim)

Methodology includes:

Salt the rim of your glass. Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake hard to chill and combine ingredients. Strain into your glass over fresh ice. Garnish and enjoy.

Corralejo Tequila Blood Orange Margarita

Ingredients include:

Two ounces of Corralejo Reposado Tequila

Three ounces of fresh blood orange juice

¾ ounce of fresh lime juice

An ounce of simple syrup

Salt

Methodology includes:

Rub the rim of an old fashioned glass (or whatever similar vessel you prefer to drink out of) with an edge of a blood orange slice. Swirl the rim through a small pile of kosher or sea salt to the rim. Combine a few cubes of ice into a salted glass. Strain the cocktail into the glass and enjoy. NOTE: one ounce of basic simple syrup is a 1:1 ratio of sugar dissolved in water. Example —one cup of sugar dissolved into one cup of water.

The Adonis

1 ½ ounce of Carpano Classico

1 ½ ounce of Oloroso Sherry

Two dashes of orange bitters

Methodology includes:

Combine ingredients in a mixing glass, stir then strain into coupe. Garnish with an orange peel.

Strawberry Basil Mule

Ingredients include:

8 strawberries

Half a lime

Basil sprig

1 ½ ounce of vodka

3 ½ ounces of Brooklyn Crafted Extra Spicy Ginger Beer Can

Methodology includes:

Muddle fresh strawberries (roughly 6), two lime wedges and basil in a copper mule mug. Top with Ice, Vodka and Brooklyn Crafted. Garnish with Strawberry and Lime wedge and basil leaves.

Cider and Stormy

Ingredients include:

Two ounces of hard apple cider

Two ounces of dark rum

Four ounces of Brooklyn Crafted Extra Spicy Ginger Beer Can

One halved lime

Methodology includes:

Combine apple cider, rum, Brooklyn Crafted ginger beer and juice of half of the lime in a cocktail shaker or tall glass and stir until combined. Cut the other half of the lime into wedges and serve in a tall glass over ice.
