Thanks to your requests, we’ve integrated a new rating system for our recipes so you know just how easy or difficult it is to make each dish.  Though we want to make it as standardized as possible, the most important piece of advice we can give is to know yourself.  If you’ve been cooking for years and your kitchen is fully stocked, the more advanced recipes might be a piece of cake.  But if you’ve never seen the inside of an oven before or are still figuring out the difference between a tablespoon and teaspoon, these guidelines will do just the trick.  Here’s how it’s broken down:

Level: Easy

Couldn’t be easier: Minimal time, accessible ingredients, simple tools.

Level: Medium

Worth the effort: You might need to buy new ingredients, seek out complex kitchen tools, or spend a little more time and effort preparing and cooking the dish.

Level: Advanced

Challenge yourself:  This recipe might be time consuming, require tools not typically available to college students, and you might have to multi-task.
