If you've ever been to Jamba Juice, you know that they offer a range of açaí and smoothie bowls for a relatively low price. However, you can get these bowls for even cheaper by making them at home. While the ingredients for açaí bowls are usually harder to find, you can usually find the necessary items to make your own Chunky Strawberry Bowl lying around in your kitchen.

Jamba Juice's version of this recipe includes strawberries, bananas and Greek yogurt, but if you don't have those ingredients or have other preferences, feel free to switch it up. I'm not a fan of bananas, so I replaced bananas with blueberries. I also included plain whole milk yogurt instead of Greek yogurt because I like my bowls a bit sweeter. Use whichever granola you like the most; I love the taste of Nature's Path peanut butter granola because it adds a great chunky texture.

To make this DIY Chunky Strawberry Bowl even healthier, substitute almond or soy milk for regular milk and add low-sugar granola.

#SpoonTip: When making this recipe, avoid adding too much yogurt or milk. Liquids will turn your meal into more of a smoothie and less of a bowl, making the consistency a lot thinner. So unless you're looking to use a straw instead of a spoon, keep your liquids on the low.

Directions:

1. Chop up your fruit. I chose to use frozen strawberries and blueberries so that I would have a thicker texture for my bowl.
