Spoon UIUC teamed up with Food & Wine magazine to increase awareness about the problem of food waste on our campus. With a microgrant of just under $100, we created 10 original recipes to show you how you can transform leftover late-night eats into something equally amazing the next day.

The Super Bowl is fast approaching, which means Super Bowl parties and tons of snacks. Tater tots are delicious and versatile; nachos are an easy and customizable snack. This recipe creates a beautiful marriage between the two for the ultimate #relationshipgoals.

#SpoonTip: Serve these with ranch, buffalo sauce, or blue cheese dressing.

 

Buffalo Tater Tot Bake

    Ingredients

  • 32 oz frozen tater tots
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 oz blue cheese crumbles

  • Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 425ºF. Lightly grease a baking sheet and bake the tater tots for 28-30 minutes so they’re extra crispy.

    Let the tots cool slightly before tossing them gently in the buffalo sauce.
