Nothing makes a Georgian like myself happier than the good savory and sweet combination of sweet potato and bacon. That is why I was ecstatic to learn that you could have bacon wrapped sweet potato fries.

Sweet potato fries is rooted in my childhood, and the salty, crispy bacon makes it 100 times greater. Whether you’re from the South or it’s your first time trying sweet potato fries, this simple recipe is a must have a least once in your lifetime.

Bacon-Wrapped Sweet Potato Fries

    Ingredients

  • 1 pack bacon
  • 1 large sweet potato
  • 2 tablespoon garlic salt
  • 2 tablespoon pepper

  • Step 1

    First and foremost, preheat your oven to 425°F.

    Slice the sweet potato into ‘fries’, making them be about ½ inch thick.

    Cut each bacon slice in half length way, and then in half again widthwise.

    Wrap each sweet potato fry with a piece of your bacon and secure with a toothpick, if necessary.
