Though I love bœuf bourguignon, coq au vin, charcuterie and cheese just as much as the next girl, sometimes, just sometimes, French food can get a little heavy for your everyday life. Under no circumstance should you stop treating yourself to croissants and croque monsiers, but this Parisian chain of fresh and healthy noms is must-add to your rotation. Cojean aims to feed, to love and to give to their community by offering simple and fresh products to provide the best possible experience for both their costumers and staff.

Additionally, ten percent of the proceeds from Cojean are donated to help fight poverty and encourage sustainable development in poor countries around the world. Sounds amazing, right?

To add to their awesome mission, Cojean’s food and drink definitely lives up to the legacy their values present. From soups and salads to chocolate mouse and açaí bowls, the menu can please anyone who walks through Cojean’s doors. With vegan, dairy free, vegetarian, gluten free, organic, certified sustainable seafood and animal free gelatin options, almost any diet or restriction can find something delicious to snack on between meetings, museums or even just to rest your feet while shopping.

Now, let’s explore some of the highlights of Cojean here in Paris:

Açaí Bowl

First thing’s first, don’t try to deny the basic betch inside of you. After spending the morning at The Louvre or Les Arts Decoratifs, nothing sounds better than a little açaí in your life.

Unlike in the States, an açaí bowl is not easy to come by, so Cojean has, by default, become a Parisian hotspot. Their slick interior space is enclosed by large glass windows, which coincidentally have huge açaí bowls printed on them. Topped with raspberries, blueberries, honey-roasted sunflower, pumpkin seeds and Cojean granola, this açaí bowl is a hot commodity here in Paris.

What makes Cojean truly unique in Paris is the huge variety of fruit and vegetable juices on the menu. Offering twelve specialty juices and smoothes, Cojean can be a great place to quickly stop to grab a drink and go. Upon walking into the store, you can either take a prepared juice off the shelf or order a specialty smoothie off the menu.

#SpoonTip: Order the Superhulk, my personal favorite smoothie composed of kale, banana, pineapple, orange and chia seeds

Prepared Foods

If you’re looking for more than just a juice, I highly recommend investigating the huge selection of prepared foods Cojean offers. From gazpacho to quinoa, you are sure to find a tasty and healthy option to grab off the shelf.

Though I highly suggest the green or the orange superfood salad, the sandwiches and pastries are surely a crowdpleaser as well. With more than twenty locations throughout Paris, I guarantee you will find a convenient Cojean that you will be drooling over everyday of your Parisian adventure.
