I know that you West Coasters are all going to say, "You're crazy!" because In-N-Out is the best burger in America. But, I know I'm right (and you will too) if you've ever had the honor of going to a Shake Shack and having one of their burgers.

The Menu

Shake Shack has an incredibly diverse menu, offering many options in addition to their burgers. I know you rarely hear about things other than burgers at a burger joint, but hear me out - there is plenty for those who don't love a good burger. The Chicken Shack sandwich rivals the one offered down at an Chick-Fil-A in the South. Also, who doesn't love a beer or a bottle of wine with a burger?

Crinkle Cut Fries

Small, crispy, crinkly, salty - sign me up! The fries from Shake Shack are comparable to little angelic fried potato pieces. The perfect addition to complement any burger, hot dog, or chicken sandwich.

The Burger

beef, lettuce, french fries, bacon, cheddar, sandwich, bun, hamburger, cheese

Double patty optional, I think it should be required! Now I'm personally not a cheese burger fan, but all of my friends dream about their cheeseburgers. You wouldn't think a potato bun helps, but it's a game changer. I mean look at that and tell me you don't want to shove it in your mouth right now.

Fresh Lemonade

If you have parents like mine, fresh and organic are foreign terms. I was raised on Minute Maid and Tropicana lemonade. Shake Shack offers a fresh and natural option that is the perfect blend of richness, acidity, and sweetness. If you don't love drinking a shake right after a greasy meal, then this is the way to go.

The Shakes

Now, I personally hate milkshakes but I order one at Shake Shack because they're that good. You have to go black and white with the flavors because it's the perfect balance of vanilla and chocolate. These concoctions are sure to make any burger eons better. Side note: if you really want to be adventurous, you can dip your fries in the burger (yes, you are not alone).

The Vibes (Let's be real, they matter)

Most fast food or burger places don't give off the best vibes, but there is a reason Shake Shack is so pricey; this reason being the ambiance. No matter who you are, you want to be in a happy, clean, and positive environment when dining. A nice blend of cool grey and green make for the perfect and most ideal dining environment.

New York Does It Best

Growing up right near the greatest city in the world, I am a little biased here to their food creations. In addition to bagels and pizza, New York has its own trademark on burgers, Shake Shack. Although, the one major down side to being New York based is the prices. I'm sure many of you know that New York is one of the most expensive cities in the world. Everything comes with a price and Shake Shack is no exception. I have dropped $20 there before on a one person meal, but I would gladly spend my entire pay check on those burgers.

After reading this article, you are going to want to find the nearest Shake Shack location. Just promise me you'll look past those Manhattan prices and know that you do get what you pay for! Deepest apologies to the In-N-Out lovers out there.
