I am a strong believer that traveling is one of the better things you can spend time in your life doing. Experiencing different places and different cultures through travel is such a unique thing that you can only get to do so many times.

Now, I am an even bigger believer that one of the better things you can do while traveling is EAT. FOOD. Granted, this is one of the better things you can even do wherever you live, but doing it somewhere else? Try being cultured AND eating food all at the same time. Double whammy of goodness

Over December break, I had the absolute joyous experience of being able to eat at Flora Farms. This place brings a whole new level to when people say they've had good farm-to-table food. Located in Los Cabos, Mexico, you might expect every restaurant to have the gorgeous view of the blue ocean and the white sandy beaches.

But just you wait, because Flora Farms is a nice switcharoo. Found at the end of a long, hilly, dirt road surrounded by desert, you might wonder where on earth I'm telling you to go eat. But just wait, because once you reach the end and this cute place is in sight, it's as if the heavens have opened (and so has your stomach).

Flora Farm is a ten-acre organic farm growing only the best, freshest produce without using any pesticides or genetically modified seeds. Cultivating and harvesting all of their freshly grown vegetables, Flora Farm definitely provides top-notch quality, organic ingredients in all of your food. They began ranching to supply the kitchen with chicken, eggs, pork, and beef, all fed with all-vegetable feed and no hormones. Yep, the perfection continues.

First things first, the aesthetic of this place is absolutely gorgeous.

Try to imagine high class picnic, meets laid back, hipster, country wall decorations with pretty lights and flowers to cover it all. Oh, and all surrounded by acres and acres of farm fresh plants and beautiful scenery. Your Instagram will be screaming with excitement. Half the fun of going is easily just hanging out at such a pretty spot.

Now, what exactly do you order?

AKA the best part. Well, have no fear, because I got you covered. Take a seat, and order up...

While you wait for your table go to the Farm Bar and order one of their unique, delicious cocktails and enjoy them at one of the cute couches surrounding the garden area. I highly recommend the Perro Perdido, or if you want something truly one of a kind that definitely wins the "wow-factor" award, order the Bloody Mary. Why? Well, it looks like this.

Now, for the fun part. FOOD! Keep in mind, everything is so fresh and incredible it's truly hard to go wrong with anything on the menu. Tip? Start with the olive bread. It's fluffiness mixed with the thorough olivey flavor is irreplaceable and will even make a olive-hater (like myself) into an olive-lover. Next, it's impossible to ignore the extensive list of pizzas on the menu.

Don't hold back on Appetizers.

Feel free to order AT LEAST three to avoid missing out. Hey, take advantage while you're here, right? Split with the table (or not, I won't tell). My personal favorite was definitely the arugula pizza. Can't go wrong with any of them though, for sure.

Oh, and did I say Burrata? I didn't? Well, Burrata too.

Still hungry? Well, at this point I definitely was not. But again, take advantage of being here and order on. The chicken burger was highly rated, along with the Grilled Eggplant and Zucchini Sandwich. I got a salad filled with fresh kale, arugula, lentils and papaya (along with other delicious ingredients) and it was by far the best meal on the table.

Dessert? Well, it would be a crime to ignore the most important part of the meal! If the items on the menu don't call out to you, have no fear. Flora Farms has homemade ice cream. Yep, you read that right. After all, it would be a crime to have a farm with fresh milk and not make ice cream. The cinnamon and caramel are a must.

So basically, Flora Farms is perfect for all your traveling foodie needs, as if these 14 places weren't enough. If not for the food, the scenery and aesthetic is enough to make anyone feel like this is a must go place.
