Just because you weren't able to make it home this Thanksgiving Day doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t enjoy a Thanksgiving feast. There’s nothing like Thanksgiving at home with family but these DC restaurants are a close second with their Thanksgiving dinner specials!

1. 1789 Restaurant

If you’re looking for a restaurant with a “homey” vibe, you should check out 1789 Restaurant in Georgetown. They will be hosting a Thanksgiving dinner with all of your favorite holiday specialties.

You can pick and choose what you want from a selection of appetizers, entrees, and desserts all ranging from $12 to $46 or you can opt for the “Traditional Thanksgiving Dinner” option which consists of salad or soup, turkey, and a choice of dessert, all for $57.

2. Vidalia

For those of you looking for comfort food this Thanksgiving, head to Vidalia located within walking distance of Dupont Circle. Their Thanksgiving offerings include Lowcountry Crab Soup, Shrimp and Grits, collard greens, macaroni, and of course, turkey. Entrees range from $28 to $58.

3. The Blue Duck Tavern

If an upscale dining experience is what you’re looking for this Thanksgiving, The Blue Duck Tavern (Foggy Bottom) will be pulling out all the stops for their Thanksgiving dinner menu. Menu prices vary from $9 for sides to $120 to entrees. From the Apple Cider glazed Roasted Turkey to Wood Oven Roasted Maine Lobster, you can’t go wrong here this Thanksgiving. We bet it will be exceptional.

4. The Equinox

Vegans and vegetarians, fret not. The Equinox will be preparing entrees specifically for non-meat eaters. Tempura of Butternut Squash and Baked Risotto as well as Porcini Mushrooms are among the options geared towards vegetarian customers. The Equinox Thanksgiving dinner menu includes a 3-course meal for $70.

5. Mintwood Place

Those of us suffering from Wanderlust this Thanksgiving can find comfort at Mintwood Place. The French American restaurant gives major Parisian vibes with their seared foie gras, latke, smoked applesauce and Duck pate campagne. The extensive cheese selection doesn’t hurt either. Main course prices range from $19 to $55.

6. Osteria Morini

Try thinking outside the box this Thanksgiving with an untraditional Thanksgiving dinner at Osteria Morini in the Navy Yard area. This Italian style restaurant will be serving a 3-course dinner for $65 as a part of their Thanksgiving Special this year.

If you aren’t in the mood for turkey and gravy, Osteria Morini will offer Italian favorites such as Gnocchi and Branzino as entrees and gelato and tiramisu to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Make sure to check these places even if it's not thanksgiving, their menus look nothing less than amazing. We hope you have a great Thanksgiving no matter where or with who you spend it!
