My Dilemma
Over the past year of college, I truly realized how important pizza is to a full-time student's diet. There have been countless evenings when I've slaved over my lecture notes, trying to grasp every last concept before the next day's big exam, and the only thing that keeps me going is some cheesy pizza. This year I lived within walking distance to a popular pizza chain where a large pizza costs around $10. After a while, that $10 began to add up and I was desperate to find a place that would satisfy my late night study munchies while not breaking the bank. Then it appeared! The local pizzeria that is a hero to all OU students' taste buds and wallets:

I became friends with a girl from Norman during the beginning weeks of the spring semester in one of my classes. Early on in the class, our teacher assigned us a group project that required us to do 3 weeks worth of work in 4 days. Needless to say, the library was my home for the next couple of days. One night, we were slaving away at this project and I suggested we order a pizza. As I was about to pull out my phone to order yet another $10 pizza, my friend stopped me and revealed to me the wonder that is Pizza Shuttle.
"It Costs How Much?"
After placing my first order, I reluctantly drove with my friend to pick up this pizza that she couldn't stop raving about. I was dead set in my ways of buying from the popular, conveniently-located chain until I reached the check-out counter. "That'll be $5." My body was in absolute shock, although I still had my doubts. I mean, please, a large pizza for $5? I was fully expecting this pizza to taste like soggy cardboard. Luckily, I was completely wrong. The pizza had the perfect ratio of sauce to cheese, and the crust was light and airy. Every bite I took made me fall more in love with this local pizzeria.
The Story Of Pizza Shuttle
Pizza Shuttle has been serving quality and cost-effective pizza in Norman since 1981. I have heard countless stories from OU alumni of how much they love Pizza Shuttle. One of my close friend's family actually refuses to order anything other than pizza shuttle due to their strong ties with the local business. All of this being said, Pizza Shuttle has been around for a while and it's clear they know what they're doing.
The Perfect Way To Get Through Finals
As the spring semester comes to a close and most of us begin the long process of studying for finals, just remember the importance of pizza. Pizza Shuttle is open until 2 a.m. on most nights, so if you need that little glimmer of hope while studying for hours on end, I highly suggest trying it.
