NoHo Juice Bar is a small, hole-in-the-wall establishment that many students easily overlook and walk right past. For those of you who want a quick bite before class at 194 Mercer or after a tough workout at Coles, you should definitely check out what NoHo has to offer.

NoHo regulars will agree that service is fast and on point. The juice bar is well known for shakes, fresh juices, and smoothies including a veggie-friendly selection of “all-green” smoothies–with greens such as cucumbers, spinach, kale, celery–blended with fruit.

NoHo’s healthy shakes are a great way to get rejuvenated and refreshed. Once you get over the bizarrely green shades, you’ll be amazed at the freshness of the fruits and vegetables. The color threw me off at first but after listening to a couple of recommendations from friends, it’s become on of my favorites. I’ve had this shake twice in the past week!

The shop also offers several breakfast and lunch options–including wraps, salads, and sandwiches of all kinds. They also boast bagels at extremely reasonable prices (plain bagels for $1.00 and buttered for $1.25). Add other toppings like egg, bacon, or ham for only $2-3 each. We recommend the everything bagel with cream cheese.

They’ve also got muffins. I had the chocolate muffin for the first time on my birthday–it was perfectly crunchy on top but the inside was delightfully fluffy. It was a great little find and I definitely recommend it with a hot cup of coffee.
