Chaayos has been one of our favourite hangout spots since forever. The most exciting thing about this place is that it keeps on innovating new dishes by giving our boring 'nashta' a refreshing twist, and there is so much to try with every visit.
Now that the summers are here, they have curated another summer menu which is just the way we like it - rejuvenating and light. Read on to find out what's in store for you this summer.
1. Kala Chana Chaat
This Chana Chaat is super light and homely. The boiled chana is seasoned with cajun spices moderately and topped with chopped tomatoes and onions. All in all, it makes for a perfect accomplice to your chai.
2. Palak Patta Crispies
These crispies are super addictive and are our favourite from the summer menu. The good old palak patta chaat has been given a mexican twist here. The crispies are air-fried and soaked in a jalapeno dip. This snack is low on calories and high on taste.
3. Kulhad Matar Kulcha
The dish is not only pleasing to the eye but to the taste buds as well. The Kulchas served are fresh and fluffy and are seasoned with chilli flakes. They serve 2 kulhads of matar to make the sharing easy.
4. Aam Panna Iced Tea
We can never imagine summers without aam panna, can we? This Iced Tea is a perfect blend of tangy and sweet and will surely make you reminisce your childhood memories.
5. Kaala Khatta Iced Tea
This Iced tea is made from jamun extract and will definitely hit the right chords. This tangy icy affair is a perfect drink to beat the heat this summer.
6. Pineapple Strawberry Iced Tea
Chaayos never fails to surprise us with new and innovative combinations of different flavours. Both the flavours compliment each other well and are balanced. Oh and they also top it with strawberry pulp!
7. Chocolate Factory Cake and Date and Fig Cake
The Chocolate Factory Cake definitely lives up to its name and oozes with chocolate in every bite. It is super gooey, soft and is topped with nuts which make it a must try for any chocolate lover.
The Date and Fig Cake is also perfect tea cake for the people who don't like their desserts to be too sweet. It is super moist, soft and the balance of flavours is just perfect.
