There are only three things that matter in Eugene, Oregon—the Ducks, beer, and good eats. Track Town Pizza epitomizes all of these things to make Eugene’s favorite pizza spot. Nestled on Franklin Boulevard between Matthew Knight Arena and Autzen Stadium, Track Town Pizza has combined a college sports fan feel with homemade pizza. Here are 7 reasons why we love Track Town Pizza and why you should too.

1. It’s a Eugene Legend

Since 1977, Track Town Pizza has blessed Eugene with delicious, handcrafted pizza. Track Town Pizza was founded during one of the greatest eras of track and field in Oregon history. Steve Prefontaine represented his home state Oregon in an epic running career. Ultimately, Prefontaine passed away in 1975 but left Eugene and the University of Oregon as Track Town USA and the country’s track destination. Track Town Pizza continues on the legacy of Track Town USA by adorning its walls of sports memorabilia and making the best dang pizzas around.

2. Location, location, location

Track Town’s location is a Eugene dream. It is literally encircled by the athletic venues of our precious Ducks. Autzen Stadium stands majestically behind and Matthew Knight Arena lights up across the street.

3. Game Day Food

There is nothing like game day in Eugene. It’s a day everyone looks forward to and thinks about all year long. Each Duck game day brings in the craziest, busiest days of revenue for Track Town because they offer super hearty pizza with fast, reliable delivery. Track Town’s Pizza is best enjoyed with a cold beer while watching the Ducks kick some butt in the rain.

4. The birthplace of BBQ Chicken Pizza

Track Town Pizza is the first place to serve chicken topped pizza in Eugene. It’s really the only place to get BBQ chicken pizza in all of its saucy goodness. Once, I accidentally double ordered and I ended up with 6 BBQ chicken pizzas and it was the BEST DAY OF MY LIFE.
