Hey guys! We know how it is when you’re considering joining a new organization. You might not know if you’re ready to make the commitment but you’re still pretty intrigued. Don’t worry, we’re here to give you guys a couple of reasons why Spoon University CAU will benefit you.
1. You have a passion for food, health, and wellness
Yes, we need food to survive but sometimes there’s a love for food that’s just indescribable. You know that feeling when you see your food finally arriving to your table and you’re completely ready to tear into your meal? Yeah, that’s the love for food you guys should have when you join the Spoon team.
2. You want to meet new people
The first couple of weeks are hard as a freshman or transfer student. If you've been on campus for a couple of years but you just want to meet some really cool people, that's cool too. If you're feeling lonely or bored, getting involved on campus is the best way to go. Join organizations you feel will best suit you and your personality, such as Spoon University CAU.
3. Gain some experience in your field of interest
Whether its writing, photography, videography or marketing, we have it. When I was first introduced to Spoon I was really interested because I love food and I also enjoy writing. If you’re interested in learning, or just have a knack for any of those things, this is definitely for you.
4. We’re going to have some of the most fun food related events EVER
Yup, you heard that right. We have Fall 2017 on lock (hint: it involves a LOT of chocolate). If you're on the healthier side, we're incorporating a few fruit and trail mix inspired events in there as well. It's going to be more fun than you could ever imagine.
