Not sure where to eat on campus? New to Marist? Or are you parents coming up for the weekend? Well look no further because here is your ultimate guide for choosing a place to eat based on you horoscope that will satisfy every sign. 

Aries (March 21 – April 19): Eveready Diner or Palace Diner

Since Aries tends to lose interest quickly and loves trying new things, a diner seems to be the best match for the easily bored ram.

The adventurous and impulsive Aries will love how these diners provide a plethora of foods going from the classic short stack with bacon to enormous burritos. You can go to either place every day for weeks and still order something different every time. 

Taurus (April 20-May 21): A Home Cooked Meal

While some students flock towards the McDonald's on campus, a Taurus prefers a finely prepared meal, fresh from the kitchen. This Bull prefers carbs, and lots of them. Whether it is pasta, bread, potatoes, or all of the above, this earth sign is making a fine dining meal that will feed an army. 

Say goodbye to ramen and Easy Mac, and hello to pesto pasta with grilled chicken and tomatoes and a full taco bar So next time you choose your housemates, make sure you choose a house full of Taurus. 

Gemini (May 21-June 20): Darby’s O’Gill’s

Gemini is the party animal of astrological signs and isn’t known for being a picky eater. Basically Gemini will eat anything, deeming their Poughkeepsie place to eat good old Darby’s.

A Gemini goes out to not only eat something delicious, but to also have a good time. You will find Gemini getting a few shots of tequila and probably Irish nachos—waffle fries topped with bacon, beef, and melted cheese served with sour cream. 

Cancer (June 21- July 22): Rossi’s

Moonchildren are all about comfort and tradition. What better place to get the home-cooked feels than Rossi’s. This family run business screams tradition in their classic Italian sandwich menu. Their cannoli will make any Cancer feel as though they are at the end of a good Sunday dinner at grandma’s house. 

Leo (July 23-August 22): Cold Stone Creamery

Leos are known for their boldness and flair for dramatics. Bigger is better in the eyes of this lion, which is why Leo should be paired with the fabulous Cold Stone Creamery. This chain ice-cream joint knows their customers, with sizes: Like It, Love It, Gotta Have It.

Libra (September 23- October 22): Lola's

Libra's are the ultimate food lover. They also love the aesthetics of food too. They are the people who Instagram every meal or put the quaint little cafe they are at on Snapchat with a moody filter. That is why the Libra is matched with Lola's cafe.

This Marist hangout spot is a hit, with their unique panini, salads, and desserts. This fusion cafe will awaken the inner foodie in any Libra. 

Scorpio (October 23-November 21): Cosimo’s

Scorpio’s intense passion and complex taste buds will lead them straight to Cosimo’s, located right across the street from the Marist campus.

Any Scorpio will leave this Italian restaurant in a committed love affair with food. Their bold and rich flavors pair nicely with Scorpio’s emotional and intuitive personalities. Enjoy a nice glass of deep red merlot and perhaps ravioli at Cosimo’s

Sagittarius (November 22-December 21): The Culinary Institute of America

The Culinary Institute will spark any traveling interest in a Sagittarius with their array of dishes, from gourmet pastries at the Apple Pie Bakery to authentic French cuisine at the Boca, all the way to Italian dishes at Ristorante Caterina de’ Medici & Al Forno Trattoria.

This sign loves moving in many different directions and can adapt to any cultural changes. The CIA is the perfect match for any Sagittarius because they provide dishes from all over the world, whether you are feeling an Asian noodle bowl or simply pulled pork.

An Aquarius is not the most adventurous sign, however one does love to pave their own way using common means. Being a traditional eater, a Marist Aquarian is most likely to be ordering pizza late at night…Or for dinner…Or any time day or night.

This sign loves to mix and match, so go crazy with toppings. Get a chicken bacon ranch pizza or a barbecue chicken and pineapple pizza, we won’t judge. 

Pisces (February 19 – March 20): Icehouse on the Hudson

Pisces is the water sign, so of course these fish will be deemed a seafood restaurant. Fish, shellfish, and anything from the sea usually suites any Pisces palette, however if you find yourself a Pisces and have a hatred for seafood, this restaurant offers a variety of burgers, salads, and pasta dishes to suit your needs. Also, the Icehouse just so happens to be located near water and not just any water, but the Hudson River.
