We have all heard of HITT training by now, as it’s a work out which has been spreading throughout the fitness world for those who want an effective way to loss fat but yet do not have the time to spend hours at the gym. HITT training does really work and many are becoming obsessed with the results of this short but sweaty workout.

First, for those who are not familiar with HITT training, it stands for High Intensity Interval Training. For about twenty to thirty minutes, you are immersed in a workout where there are alterations of full out bursts of energy where you go as hard as you can, followed by fixed periods of less intense activity, or even complete stops. As someone who has become obsessed with working out, HITT training has been incorporated in not only my weekly routine, but many others as well.

Turning towards major fitness gurus, such as those from Men’s Health, swear by the benefits of HITT training, as the fitness experts who are always showing us great new workouts to reach our goals love how HITT puts our bodies into a great state to build lean muscle mass, which is what the trainers from Men’s Health are all about.

Furthermore, most of us have heard of Kayla Itsines, the intense personal trainer whose workouts kick your a** in a matter of 30 minutes. For those who have accomplished her workouts before, you know that all her workouts revolve around short circuits where you get pushed to your limit during the workout, as it gets your heart racing in a short period of time with minimal rest. Her workouts consist of short intervals of different exercises, thus resembling intense intervals, designed for different muscle groups within the body. Her intense but short workouts are hell and you want the timer to stop before you pass out, but Kayla’s workouts have been proved by numerous people who are dedicated to her fitness program that her method is effective.

They too are obsessed with HITT training and use the workout to not only whip their soldiers into shape, but also use HITT training to enhance operational fitness levels and optimize combat readiness and resiliency for the Marines. If you want to be as intimidating as a Marine, HITT is for you.

Not only are fitness gurus and the Marines incorporating HITT to see more effective strength and loss of body fat, but famous celebrities, such as David Beckham, incorporate HITT into his busy schedule to maintain his physique after his soccer career. David Beckham’s intense workout includes sprinting intervals where he rests for 20 seconds, and rests for a minute, along with other intense intervals which will leave your body burning if you try his workout but also feeling incredibly accomplished.
