It's the start of spring here at James Madison University and if you have a sweet tooth you know what that means, Delta Desserts. If you're not familiar with one of the best days of spring semester, well, you came to the right place because this is everything you need to know.

Delta Desserts is a night of all you can eat desserts that raises money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. This is super cool because St. Jude is one of the leading hospitals in the research for kids with cancer or other life threatening diseases and it runs solely on donations.

This year, a patient's family who received treatment at St. Jude will even be attending the event at JMU. So, why not eat as many cookies as humanly possible while helping this great cause?

Delta desserts is not just a bunch of boring cookies either. Don't get me wrong you've got the traditional chocolate chip, but the variety of treats range from Nutella brownies, Reese's cupcakes, s'mores rice krispies and just about any recipe found on Pinterest. And since spring break is over and summer is months away, if there is one piece of advice I have for you it's to come hungry.

Be sure to unbutton your pants after you take your last bite of that red velvet cupcake and enter the donut eating contest with donuts provided by Peace Love and Little Donuts! As if that's not incentive enough, there will also be a prize for the winner.

Make sure to stop by delta desserts at the Madison Union ballroom this Tuesday, March 21 from 6-10 pm to get unlimited treats for just $5. If the endless amounts of cookies, brownies and cupcakes or the chance to shove your face with donuts don't motivate you remember all profits benefit the kids at St. Jude.
