"Game of Thrones" Season 7 premiered last night and everyone is freaking out, but not for the reasons you might think. Last night Emilia Clarke's character Daenerys rolled up to Dragonstone. But today, in an interview with the Daily Mirror, Clarke reflected back on her experience in Season 1 where her character had to eat a stallion heart (or for the sake of filming, hearts) #mems. In case you were unsure, it was not a pleasurable time for Clarke.

Now, calm down — Clarke didn't actually have to eat legit horse heart, but what producers gave her still seems pretty bad. She said the fake stallion heart was made of solidified jam, and its taste was comparable to a heavenly mix of "bleach and raw pasta."

Clarke didn't even have to pretend to be grossed out while filming, because that was some gross culinary prop.

"I ate roughly 28 hearts throughout the days we filmed that scene. Fortunately, they gave me a spit bucket because I was vomiting in it quite often," she said.

The one thing I don't understand is how she still maintained such beauty while eating those. If I was vomiting from eating the equivalent of "bleach and raw pasta," you can be sure that I would look like a literal trash bag. Tbh, I would not have the strength to eat one, nonetheless 28 fake stallion hearts, even if it was for a job. True props to Emilia Clarke for her efforts; she deserves to sit on that throne.
