With Valentine’s Day fading to black behind us, break-up season is quickly inching forward. We’ve all been in that infinitely crappy position—snuggled on the couch coddling Netflix in your arms to dry those tears.

For those of us couch-ridden/broken heart singles, we could probably all pinpoint a single snack that’s tenderly nursed us back to emotional health—popular picks being Easy Mac, ice cream, or raw cookie dough. We found some foods to take lonely breakup snacking to a whole new level.

1. Wine Ice Cream

You heard me right. They actually went there. Mercer’s Wine-infused Ice Cream is picking up steam all over the globe. You can actually get a solid buzz off of it, too—the containers have a 5-percent alcohol content. Flavors include Peach White Zinfandel, Cherry Merlot, Riesling, and so on. Chocolate Cabernet is a super popular twist for those with a sweet tooth.

2. Microwave Mac-N-Cheese

None of that powdered cheese crap. This is simple enough to make easily and cheap at home. Using real cheese allows for the ooey-gooey texture that gets lost with standard homemade versions. Try using other shredded blends outside of cheddar—mozzarella, Swiss, muenster, and others all work excellent.

3. Edible Cookie Dough

We would define edible as being possible to digest without giving you anxiety over what it’s doing to your body. Raw egg is a problem, and lots of us still whimsically dive into the raw cookie dough trap. No need to worry from now on, because the Cookie Dō and the Cookie Dough Cafe have axed this issue—providing consumers with the same distinct and delectable taste without the health risks that come with it.

4. Deep Fried Tequila Shots

This one’s for the wild ones. It’ll take a bit more effort, but may be a fun touch for some friends looking to stay in and bar the loneliness together. All you’ll need is Sponge Cake, Tequila, Powdered Sugar, and Canola Oil, and you’re on your way. They’re delicious and create a unique way to get drunk. Need I say more?

5. Chocolate Mug Cake

This recipe is a quick and guiltless way to indulge in your chocolate fantasies. It can be baked in the oven, but who really wants to wait that long when we can do it during the 30-second break between Netflix episodes? Prepare it in the microwave for an equally exquisite and mouthwatering experience.
